    I think perhaps it's time to kick off a thread about the unsung heroes of the railway world, those hard working commuter trains. To get the ball rolling here's a video I took yesterday of 29417 passing the Lady's stairs bridge !!! :D

    An 8100 Class arriving at Howth Junction Stn last November. The original and best DART IMO, great acceleration and plenty of comfortable seats.

    I wouldn't say they are the best now. I was on two 8100 sets that had brake failures. The first was a pre refurb set and the second was almost 2 years ago. Also since the refit the doors are so slow on them now.

    The 8520s are tops for me. Best seats and leg room, tons of standing space for rush hour and best ride quality.
