Audi A4 steering hard

I have an audi a4 2009

The steering wheel is very hard to turn I though there were all like this.


But I was in a few since I bough mine and there so light when trying to park.


Anyone else like this? I went to audi and the man says its fine nothing wrong but I'm not so sure. He said some audis have a thing built in when very low speed a thing will kick in to lighting up the steering although I though all a4 had this am I wrong?

Sounds like your car doesn't have servotronic which is Audi-speak for proper speed-sensitive power steering. Spec on Irish ones is dreadful. I drove Irish vs UK Technik spec and it's like a different class of car - both to drive and sit in.

What wheels have you on your car and what wheels have the other people had on there car?

Servotronic was an option on Irish cars in 2009, but standard from 2010 onwards.

Makes a big difference to the weight of the steering, but even with servotronic the A4's do feel heavier than most other cars.

This car was a UK car I thought all A4 had the servotronic

I have the alloys that come on them from audi and the other 2 A4 the same wheels they too are UK


So my car has not got that servotronic, pity cause its a BIG diffidence when parking as the steering is hard all the time in my car. I though it was meant to lighting up when low speed
