Stubborn Mule Sportive 2013

    Just looking for a bit of background on this as I am thinking of doing this as my first ever sportive. Not long started cycling, the most I have done is about 80kms at around 24 km per hour. Would I be completely on my own at the back looking slightly embarrassed or are there people around my level who would be doing this.

    80km at 24kph - you'll be fine.

    Thinking of doing this too, what ar the numbers usually like? Is it a big event? Can't seem to find anything on how many people usually take part?

    I'm doing this on Saturday.
    I rang one of the organisers. He told me, that they are expecting over 100 participants.
    Looking forward to it.
    This sportive is organised by The Garda Cycling Club.
