To all you experieced grass managers out there, what is the minimum height grass is at when ye start grazing it, I have a few acres that was grazed by horses in the winter, I rolled it some ago and manured it it has greened up well now and has about 1 inch of grass, how much longer shouldi leave it before grazing with 500 kg cattle

Around 4" usually, but it could be a while yet with this weather

Desperate for grazing for two mares. Preferably near Dublin as we are from Glasnevin. Thanks!
