    Hi there.
I have downloaded a couple of videos from filesmonster.com but have encountered the same problem with each of them.

It for some strange reason only downloads the audio and not the video-so when I go to play the download I can hear what was downloaded but no video!!
    Any ideas whats wrong?
    Many thanks

What type of files are they? Sounds like you might not have the right codecs installed to watch these.

    They are .avi and .mov

I dont know an awful lot about computers so I'm pretty much lost!

    .mov needs quicktime to play

.avi codecs usually need divx or xvid codecs to play properly

also download vlc movie player as it too has alot of the codecs mostly commonly used and it is free

Thanks guys...thats brillant...got them to work ok now.
Just one other question....any idea why some files download and others dont.
For instance I can find the video I want to download...I click on Download but most times nothing happens. Then somtimes it will actually download...its very hit and miss.

Make sure you have decent antivirus mate because downloading files from dodgy sites without knowing much about computers is asking for trouble.

And are you make sure the source of all the videos are valid? If so check your network and firewall.
I only download some videos from YT with iFunia, still hope this can help you.
