    Hi,

I have these bolts and cant seem to figure how to secure the staple to the door frame/architrave? Its for a bathroom door.

Anybody with some kind words of wisdom...

    Thanks

    Hey Wwtk
The bolt will be screwed to the door at height you/kids are comfortable with.
You will then have to line up the receiver with the bolt at where it goes on the doorframe, yes the architrave will be in the way for now,
Get a sharp pencil and mark the outline of the receiver on the face of the architrave( it is a big receiver) the important tool now is a very sharp 1/4 inch wood chizel so not to tear the timber edges as you take out the section of wood right inside the pencil line.
Note it is hard to make these fittings look neat when finished, when some of the architrave is taken out. Small piece of sandpaper and lightly tidy up the edges before screwing fitting in place.
    Hope this helps
    GL
