RTÉ and 2FM have news headlines in Irish on the half hour or so. Am I the only one that thinks the news reader is translating the headlines from English as he goes a lot of the time?

To my ear the reader slows down or hesitates as if he is reading ahead to make sure the translation is correct.

Ha - three threads in a month - it isn't just me so.

Apologies for the duplicate threads - my quick search didn't turn up anything.
