I see the price per share in Glanbia is around €10 at the moment and from the share spin off recently, I was thinking of selling a certain amount of the shares. Does anyone the safest, quickest and cheapest way of selling Glanbia Shares? I know that Davy's and Goodbody stockbrokers will sell them for you. Are they doing a special deal for people selling these Glanbia spin off shares? I dont want to give away 3% of the value when another stock broker might only charge less than 1%.
Is there anything else i should be aware of, I am an amateur when it comes to this kind of thing.

I think that IFA have a deal with some broker, ICMSA may have the same. The cheap online traders all now are starting to charge a montly maintenance fee so if you use them ( and they are by far the cheapest) you need to remove your money and cancell the account . On the BIZ section of boards there may be more info about share trading accounts

Use the computer share form that came with the share cert stating the number you want to sell, sign it and send off to them.
They have a Glanbia special commission of only 0.5% which is the cheapest you'll get.
They only sell Mondays for that though so if you send them in by Friday, they will sell next Monday for the best rate of that day.
Settlement will be the following Thursday and you will have your cheque a week or so later.
    Its a slowish process .
You will be sent a new share cert less the amount you sold later.
If you do that this week, there's a bank holiday so you'd have your money probably by the 4th or 7th of may in or abouts.

The likes of Davys ,Dolmen etc would be quicker but 5 times the price.
