    Hi all,

Sister car is leaking power steering. Had a quick look this morning. Fluid is leaking where the high pressure pipe meets the pump. It's leaking between the pipe and the nut that connects to the pump.

Would this be a replacement pipe or pump?

    It's a 08 focus with 100k kilometres.

Don't want to buy the wrong part!

    Cheers,
    M

I had a leak from the pressure switch (common fault I'm told), and a new one was ~€65 from a main dealer.

Usually need to replace the pipes. Make sure not to drive it or you will be replacing the pump as well.

Common problem with the Focus, you will need the pipes and the union that screws into the pump.
