best clutch for an audi a4 2009

    Thinking on getting the clutch done as it has got very hard

    Think there 2 kits i can get


    a Solid Flywheel and the other i cant remember the name, and its meant to be the Solid Flywheel is not as good.

    can anyone tell me the name off the other? think i have this right

    Someone tole me one time that a Solid is not as good and will leave a tremble in the car or something

    Assuming you are not modifying the car for buckets of extra power in the future: Get the OEM clutch and/or flywheel.

    Dual mass flywheels give a much smoother drive than the single mass flywheels, but may need to be replaced between 100k and 200k miles.
    Single mass flywheels feel rough at idle and in traffic much the same as a tractor does, and for the same reasons.

    If you are modifying in the future, the OEM clutch won't handle the extra torque, but the clutches that can will likely have a harder pedal and a much sharper bite point.
