I was asking about a cab for our 698 abiut a year back, rusted to sh1t at the moment. Got no joy from anyone. I went as far as contacting dealers in england, but no luck. They might be in better nick on the continent, but have no idea how to source one.

Chances of buying one here are slim as they are all in either the same poor condition, or are still attached to very well minded machines.

I'm about to buy some sheet steel to start re-fabricating the worst effected parts of my 698T Cab.

    Doors are available to Buy.

Landini 80 series cabs would be ideal but again they are very rare.

Best thing To do is cut The bad out sandblast The Good And weld in new steel where you cut out The bad prime it with a Good heavy under primer probably a marine based one , then paintit a couple of times And refit The glass And interior.

I have done this with a few tractors mainly same And it works out cheaper than buying a new cab And you have a brand new cab when you finish The repairs
