Chill insurance- which companies?

Anyone know which insurance companies are not included in the chill.ie searches?

Are 123.ie? They are so cheap. Our house insurance was only €550 with them when axa was quoting €990.

You're asking if a broker is quoting a broker. That's a bit like Opel advertising Toyota.

123.ie are not a broker, they are a wholly owned subsidiary of RSA and only sell RSA policies. Chill.ie do not sell 123.ie products

I was trying to simplify it.

1 : one who acts as an intermediary: as a : an agent who arranges marriages b : an agent who negotiates contracts of purchase and sale (as of real estate, commodities, or securities)

So despite the fact that they're a tied agent, what exactly are they? They're not an Insurer, RSA do the underwriting.

123.ie are a broker. They are just tied to one company - RSA. Chill.ie are a broker with about 14 different contracts to companies such as Zurich etc. Both are brokers.

When filling out form for motor tax you don't write chill.ie or 123.ie for insurance company. You put down the underwriter.

XSDirect are not an insurance company either!! They are officially a broker that underwrite policies for Inter Hanover. So brokers do sell brokers policies sometimes Just thought id add that into the mix!!

Inter Hanover is a non life Insurance Company whom underwrite for XSDirect.

XS Direct Insurance Brokers Ltd are underwriting agents for the XS Direct Insurance product. Inter Hannover are the Insurer.
