how much meal to a cow at grass

    Very little silage so let some cows out yesterday.

    There is very little grass as well only a nibble, how much meal should I feed the cows per head?. Is 3.5 kg enough?

    id say thats loads give them some cal mag aswell. What age are calves?

    If you keep the protien low cow will put more of feed onto her back and less likely to blow the hole out of calves.
