I''ve moved to Galway, living near Salthill, I'd like to take up a water sport, was looking at kite surfing, but wondering what else there is and where I can get lessons.

    Howdy,

    http://www.rusheenbay.com/

Re-opening for the summer soon. Would definitely be worth a look.

I'm not associated to them but have recently taken up windsurfing again after a 10 year gap.

    OB.

I think there's a Clare Kite Surfers page on Facebook.

They're meant to be very helpful and some there are good at training people how to set up the gear to how to get started in the water etc
