Hey folks, I'm looking from a set of wheels with a Campagnolo freehub. Something in the 1500g region. Anyone got anything? Cheers.

If you can only find a shimano set of mavic wheels, I can sort you out with an unused campagnolo freehub!

Hmmm, can you just swap over a freehub? I've got a rear kysrium SL campagnolo hub.

It's about a 2 minute job. 8mm and a 10mm hex wrench, if I recall...I may be wrong, haven't done it in a while. But it IS quick!

I have a set that might be of interest. They have daytona 9, 10, 11 speed compatible hubs on ambrisio excellence rims with DT double butted spokes.

These are effectively the same hubs as the very expensive and sought after aluminium Campagnolo Record hubs from c2005 (only difference is the lack of a grease port in the hub). The hub body hub internals (axle, cones, bearings etc) and freehub are the same.

The rims are the model with the nice brass weight around the valve hole. They have about 1000km on them. Wheels are in very good condition, I replaced the bearings recently. Let me know if interested @ 275.

Alternatively I have a new set if fulcrum racing 7s - unused for 130.

    Both have skewers.

A set of almost new (with warranty) Zonda's on Adverts for less than 300e, seems a good deal. No connection to seller myself just saw them!!!!!!

Yeah, saw them but opted for a set of new ones in cyclesuperstore for €350 seemed like the way to go. Also when they saw that I was a bit put out that the couldn't give me the usual customer discount on top of that price they threw in a couple of campagnolo wheel bags and extra skewers. Nice guys.

Also thanks for the offer Letape.

LeTape, what is the spoke count and do they have black or silver rims. Are the skewers oem?

Hi Camaghead - apologies, I hadn't seen your response.

The wheels are 32 hole and include the original OEM skewers. They rims are a very nice dark purple colour. I might put up a separate thread with a few pictures.

    Letape

Thanks for getting back to me.

I thought you weren't that interested in the sale so i did n't push it.

I pulled the trigger on a set of T11s on H Son rims last week so I won't be needing another set for a while.

They sound right up my street though so I would like to see a few pictures.

I built the Centaur hubs I got off you with Nemesis Clincher rims and I have to say they are a super set of wheels - many thanks.
