    Hey ppls,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the satellite systems alot of pubs are using to pick up the middle eastern station, and what kind of costings would they be... Or also a viable alternative (not paying through sky & upc or terrible streaming). Also if anyone has any knowledge on satelite systems that pick up the likes of fox soccer in america..

    All information greatly appreciated :)

First of all you need a big dish pointing at the satellite you intend to get content from. Then a subscription. Same as SKY

Ok... Any further information, rather than just common sense?

    Cheers

What Leagues are you interested in watching? Most european Satellites will require a subscription just like SKY. Is it the cost you are trying to get around or a better viewing scope? You will need a bigger dish to view stations is that a an option for you (ie big dish on the front of your house). Dont quote me on this but FOX soccer I cant imagine you will get that here or in europe.

http://www.foxsoccer2go.com + a VPN will allow you to watch this anywhere. I dont know how much the SUB is for this site but thats what you are looking for..

Many thanks stephen, Im trying to increase the options while not increasing cost too much, currently have upc with sky sports, i changed from sky to try reduce costs, the likes of arsenal nd that are rarely televised now, well from an arsenal fans point of view, but they seem to be showing alot on foxsoccer... so was trying to find a way to get it in the living room preferably.

    Thanks again..

If you are watching streams you will need a PC, a Site SUB and a VPN for FOX soccer
Satellite option will be a bigger dish and Motor (costs) then a SUB (and someone to install)

Might not save that much in the long run.

Exact costs I cant provide as it depends. Does SKY not provide all the matches you need?

They do provide a fair amount of them, but it seems that in the pubs around, eg. woolshed in town, they have a much bigger selection somehow, and id like to have a bit of the same variety myself lol.. if its feasable i mean.... :)

    Understandably :D

If you take down the channels that these are on we can help you in what direction you need to go as they may be using multiple satellites to get these channels. There are different options/sizes from a dish perspective.

Okay, there is no discussing circumventing geoblocking here. OP there is a whole Foreign Satellite forum if that is what you want to discuss.
