Clipless pedals

    Hi all,

am kind of new to this clipless pedals lark being a relative newbie. My LBS put on KEO EASY but I am finding it really hard to get used to clipping out. There is no tension release on them and I have been practicing but still falling off on my spins.

So I guess I am looking for advice on any pedals that might be easier for a newbie to release. A friend suggested double sided pedals...any suggestions?

    Thanks.

my shimano ultegra spd-sl have tension settings. double sided won't help clipping out, only clipping in. and even that's pretty marginal, practice makes perfect

It could take a while before you get used to it, just try and clip out before you need to.

I think you should stick with the pedals you have, you will get used to them soon. Is the problem that you find the actual action of clipping out difficult?

If so, make sure your cleats are screwed on to your shoes absolutely tight as possible, and they are more or less straight. Practice leaning up against a wall for a little while. Get used to clipping out well in advance of a stop

The Keo are no easier or harder to unclip than SPD or SPD-SL. You'll get used to them.
Just make sure you're unclipping correctly, turning your heel outwards.
