What's your budget? You will be hard pushed to beat the cooler master hyper 212 evo in the €25-€35 range.

I'd say it beat's the more expensive one above. It's not too big either. Just a small (compared to the high end) efficient design that's pretty quiet.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-120mm/dp/B0068OI7T8/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1366502273&sr=1-1&keywords=cooler+master+hyper+212+evo

Out of 59 ratings on amazon 42 are 5 star and 14 are 4 star. Professional reviews are just as positive and I can vouch for it myself as a top quality budget cooler. At 4.5ghz on my 3570k maxing at 65c under a heavy stress test.

Budget for a cooler would be around £40 so thats fine.
Thanks for the tip on the alternative.
Needed to know because while not strictly a Mini case, the Haf 912 is smaller than some other cases.
    Thanks for the help

Its deeper than the DF-30 (that I have) and I'm using the titan Fenrir Pro which is huge and it just fits so I can't see you having a problem.

Heres a picture of how big it is

    Your case is 230mm deep,mine is 198mm

Dan what way to you have that cpu cooler set up? I assume it's in pull and blowing out the top. I never seen a cpu cooler setup like that.

It's so close to the fan above it as well it has to be causing turbulence. Have you tried mounting it in any other positions?

There seems to be room to put the fan on the underside blowing upwards which should work better.

I honestly can't remember,I know I spent a few hours switching the fans around until I got the degree's as low as I could. At the time I couldn't move the heatsink because I had no spare thermal paste and haven't been arsed since lol
