No signal on old Sky Box

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if I have any options here, I suspect I dont.

I have Sky Multiroom (2 boxes). There is no signal to one of the boxes (the oldest one, have it about 8-10 years)

I rang Sky, they say an Engineer has to come out, box not under warranty, so will cost 100 or pay €9 a moth going forward for some sort of warranty.

I suspect the box is just banjaxed and will have to get a new one (assume I would have to pay 100+ for new box also)

Is there any way to avoid this? Buy a new/second hand box on ebay perhaps.

I dont want to end up paying a ridiculous 200-300 euro.....would rather cancel the multiroom

    Thanks in advance
