    Would anyone know how to find out if a mechanic is qualified ?

    if the mechanic is working from a garage, ask to see his certs
    if he is doing a nixer and you found his name advertised -who knows, a risk you take

    Ive found some amateurs are ten times more competent than some qualified mechanics.
