    Don't think you'll get hourly data for free. Met eireann can supply it for a fee.

    From my experience of looking for hourly stats for wind speeds (to estimate the power generated from proposed future offshore wind farms in Europe) you will most likely have to pay for the privilege or devise some model to estimate the temperature.

    I am assuming you will also have to consider height above and below sea level into you calculation, avg wind gusts, etc if your attempting to model the power transfer of the HVAC transmission line.

    I think he is referring to Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, rather than High Voltage AC.
