BBQ gas regualtor

Can someone help. I looked every where on the internet and can find an answer. My new bbq has a 50 mbar regulator. The gas barrel is 30 mbar. Is this ok or bad?. My bbq will only light by a match. Its new. Is the spark weak or is it to do with the 50 mbar regualtor and 30 mbar barrel. Thanks
