Hi, I'm new to Boards.ie and I hope I'm posting this in the right place, if not could one of you kind fellows direct me?

Basically I'm looking for some kind of live-in student lifeguard job in France this summer. I love swimming and I'm studying French in College so perfect combo :D

I don't mind working ****ty hours or whatever I'm just dying for experience, both in French and in Lifeguarding!

if anyone could share past experiences or help me how to go about it I'd be delighted. I'm a bit clueless :(

Are you a qualified lifeguard? If not, don't bother.

And don't "blag" the interview, because if you f**k up saving someones life, they'll probably die.

Whoops probably should have mentioned that I am qualified :P Which is the whole point, I want as much experience as possible!

Any ideas on how I can get an interview to blag? Googling hasn't been much help :/
