Replace/repair front tooth crown

Had crown approx 18 years ago done in Newry dentists. (Upper right 8, I think it's called). Have cracked it and am wondering if anyone could tell me can it be repaired? More likely it's going to have to be replaced. For various reasons (nothing to do with the quality of the original crown) I don't want to have to travel up north. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Dublin or surrounding area that isn't going to cost the earth? PM me if it's not permissible to post here. Came across this place <snip>which seems very competitive price wise. Anyone any experience of them? Thanks in advance.

an upper right 8 is your upper wisdom tooth. only a charlatan would crown that in an otherwise healthy mouth.
if it's tooth number 8 then it's a central incisor. any dentist worth their salt would be able to do that, best option is to call a few places, get a gauge for the average price, and if you're happy to pay that, or a bit more for something better, then go with that.

there's a few different notations for identifying teeth.
    upper right central incisor = UR1 = 1.1 = 8 = 1|

you're better off to avoid notations and just use the full words!

You're right. Top teeth, the one just to the right of my two front teeth. Thanks, looks like there'll be lots of calls to be made Monday morning.

    Hi

I went with a bridge when I needed a tooth replaced.
My dentist is the nicest man you could ever meet and he did such a great job I would highly recommend him.
If you would like his name I can pm you.
