dont know if this is the right section to post, but looking for solution,so basically i like listening to music, have it playing most time of the day on my pc,but when leaving the room or in the kitchen id like to hear the music playing there, not looking for high end boom system, just some sort of way to get speakers plugged in the kitchen that would be able to receive music to them from my pc.
Was thinking maybe some sort of wi-fi radio with external connections for speakers, and configure winamp to transmit music like internet radio.
looking for cheap solutions if someone has something similar set up would like some advices.thx

Speakers connected to a Raspberry Pi running XBMC. You can then just use the Play With (I think that's what it's called) option form your PC, and select what "room" you want to play the music in.
