    Three Fiddy.

Seriously, what car, engine, coolant type? That request is looking to be the most vague question of the year so far...

Lol...sorry. Its 1.3l Hyundai accent...coolant is low in it and I have a bottle of antifreeze that I should use up.

Sometimes it's not strictly necessary to mention your car type in a question, and this is one of those questions.

The standard is 70 water 30 coolant, you can go to 50/50.

Coolio thanks for that. What about the coolant already in the engine. As said above there is some left but it's below the min mark. Is it ok to mix the coolants?

Have you bought it yet, didn't it say on the bottle?

Some are concentrate, some are ready mix. Read the instructions on the back.

If you're just topping up I'd dump it in straight from the bottle, you can't really have "too much" coolant*

*generally speaking, ratios may differ, blah blah

What difference does it make what car it is?

It depends on antifreeze and freezing temperature you want to achieve.
Generally yes - 50/50 is fine, but there surely are some exceptions.
Best to read advice on the bottle.

Also it's not good to mix it with tap water.
    Use distilled water instead.

Some cars specify a particular type of coolant.

It's generally OK to mix, but you shouldn't mix different type of coolants.
If you don't know what coolant is inside or it's very old, it might be wise to drain it all, and fill up with fresh one.

Remember however, that in most cars difference between min and max level of coolant might be something like 0.5 litre, while the whole system could be 5 or 10 litres.

So don't think that if your level is below min, there is nearly nothing left.
If it's below min, in most likely means that system is nearly full anyways.

Yea but that has nothing to do with the ratio.
