over barrell mod for .22

i have a cz .22lr just wondering can i get one to suit? and looking for the pro's and con's.
the reason im thinking of the over barrell is to keep it short and balanced ( and looks like the dogs..... :cool: )
those been my main two reasons id like to hear advice from people who have had hands on experiance of them or toughts. never bothered with mods before but would be useing it mainly for bunnies and said id treat myself lol

also what changes would i need to get it marked on my lisence ?would i need to surrender my gun till the new lisence came back and would it be another 80 sheets?

I dont see the point tbh, just use a sak! Great mod and not heavy

The dm80 can be gotten in overbarrel but its heavier and ends up protruding as much as other mods anyway which makes it pointless.. If you want a short, small, light good mod look at the LEI.. Patrick Carley in wexford stocks them. They're 160quid tho..

or go to a gunsmith and get a short one made like I did.

Or get you're barrel shortened and re-threaded,think you can go to 16" without affecting velocity.

ya was thinking on going down to 16 inchs as i herd it wont effect the velocity catfirelily, and i will look at those LEI mods's garv, get some numbers and see where id end up in lenght as fot the price im not to worried if i was getting a quality peice as it only for a .22 i never have an intention on getting rid of it

The LEI is the small stainless one in the middle and it also gets the best rating in the review.

LEI mods are made for .17 Hmr only.

The best over Barrel mod for a .22 is the wildcat whisper, and only adds 4.5"
to the muzzle of you rifle.
