did them last year the main advice i would give especially with man acc, fin acc and finance is to get the papers finished, time is very tight and most of the people who fail do so because they dont finish the paper, also dont underestimate tax, i did and just about got by on a 51

financial management (WACC, NPV) and fin acc will be the toughest time wise I think. Any advice regarding exam technique to get the paper finished? I will look to pick up the easy marks first.

    Hi,

My advice is not to underestimate the theory! It takes a lot less time within the exam and if you add up the various theory parts it accounts for a good chunk of the marks. If you can get these easier(relatively) marks and get them down on the page quickly enough it takes the pressure off some of the computational questions such as WACC etc which can tie you up in knots with very little reward marks wise.

This approach got me through them all first time last year and going by my CAP 2 lecturers it will most definitely be the approach I'll take for this year as well.

    Best of luck!
