Presumeably they are going to try and do the same netflix has done with Arrested Development.
It'll be interesting to see if any other platforms resurrect dead TV shows. I'd have loved to see Freaks and Geeks, but there's no way that could happen unless trhey got an entirely new cast, which probably wouldn't work.

Unlike Heroes, which could probably work with a new cast (As they could always introduce new members with other powers..)

    Anyway..

Once upon a time, the show was a rather big hit for NBC, but after a lackluster first season finale, the show steadily declined in quality until it ended in season four. This revamped show would reportedly be a new cast (most of the main actors are working elsewhere at this point, like the pictured Hayden Panettiere starring on Nashville), but it would mix in cameos from the old cast as well depending on plotlines and their schedules. Further details past that are scarce right now.
As for the actual idea of a Heroes reboot? I think many of us can agree that fewer shows had the potential to be awesome, yet squandered it so thoroughly. I’d love to see a new direction for the concept with a new cast and leadership. I worry about the budget, however. Even with NBC fully backing Heroes, they still had to skimp on special effects, which is a bummer for a superhero show. I can’t imagine a Microsoft funded show on Xbox Live would have a higher budget, so I’d fear it feeling cheap.

    Anyone think this could work?
