I usually use this, it's not too scented which I like

I got Rituals Mei Dao last week and I'm really liking it so far. Lovely smell and very moisturising. http://www.rituals.com/nl-en/product/mei-dao-197

Silcock's base is very very moisturizing and extremely cheap and long lasting. It's only about 4e and highly effective.

I use Vaseline Aloe Fresh lotion. My skin isn't usually dry but can start to feel a bit papery if I don't drink enough water. I find most body lotions too heavy and they take forever to soak in leaving a greasy feeling on my skin. The vaseline one seems to just soak straight in leaving the skin nice and soft. Smells nice and fresh too.

I can't imagine it would be great for skin that is very dry tho.

I love pure coconut oil. You can get it for about 5 euro in most supermarkets and can use it almost everywhere. I love to use natural products whenever I can.

does coconut oil leave a sticky layer on your skin?

No, I use it in the evening before I change into my pajamas. It's solid in the tub and it melts into your skin when you rub it onto the skin as it melts at body temperature. Any excess I just dab off with a towel.

Palmers Cocoa Butter (with the pump!) is great and smells lovely. You can get it in most supermarkets.

I'm just wondering, is there a difference between this coconut oil and the ones you find in health food shops where the prices are about €20?

Sorry, thats a bit off topic

Dove body silk cream in the tub. The only one that works for me. I love it.

I haven't a clue tbh. I saw the 20 euro jars in health food shops but I wouldn't pay that much for it. So long as the coconut oil is pure that is the main thing so it doesn't clog pores. Its basically of a grade you can cook with. I got mine in the cooking oil section of the supermarket. Pure and organic and under 6 euro is good enough for me.

I use Vaseline's essential moisture cocoa radiant and love it. Very moisturising and the cocoa butter smells amazing.

Just like Pumkinseeds I love coconut nut oil, for my hair and my skin. I buy it in my local Supervalu - the brand name they sell is called "Cocowel". A tub of this lasts forever. I used to use olive oil which works very well too, but the coconut oil smells way better. I got a Christmas present of "Creme Velours pour le Corp" by Chanel No 5 - it's gorgeous and really hydrates the skin. But I'm sure it must have cost a fortune, coconut oil does just as good a job.

Cocowel is the one I use, couldn't think of the name of it:)

I love Soap and Glory body butters, especially the Sugar Crush one 'cause it smells AMAZING. They're dear though, so I quite like Dove/Garnier ones as well as you can get different strengths for different skin types. I've really dry skin so that's important.

Agree with Tiddlypeeps about Vaseline aloe not being great for dry skin - I used some of my mum's when I was at home recently and I needed to put on two coats of it as my skin was still so dry after the first one.

Another plus for the Palmers Cocoa Butter. Only started using it last week and I love it. Skin feels so much better, definitely go for the pump one though if you can!!! :D

Although half tempted to try the other ones on the list to compare!! :)

Palmers cocoa butter solid formula is amazing..also love the pump bottle but find a lot can get stuck in the end of it..my skin loooves olive oil..drinks the stuff..and also coconut oil is great..I have the unrefined stuff from H&b ..but the stuff in dunnes or tescos or the asian stores for a few euro is exactly the same..don't pay 20euro for it just because its marketed as a beauty product!also reccomend heating some in the microwave and applying as a pre wash hot oil treatment to hair..cannot stand the Vaseline coco moisturiser however! Made my skin dryer and smelled awful IMO..it was the worst I've used in fact!..i used to like vaseline (i used to use the aloe one years ago) but it actually turned me off using them..perhaps they changed their firmula? also not a fan of soap and glory as find it smells very 'chemical-ly' and way too strong

I used vitamin E cream years ago but switched to taking vitamin E capsules instead as I found them better. I got out of the habit of taking them though, must start taking them again.

I use Cocowel also and find it great. But once I bought some KLC coconut oil in an Indian shop, and got lots of little pimples all over my legs. Never go that with Cocowel, which says its 'Virgin', KLC is refined, so I imagine that has some affect on the oil.

    Speeds

Does very little moisture wise but smells very nice. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin at all though.

I use the one from aldi in the white bottle with pale blue label. I've very dry skin normally but am also 9 months pregnant and found this cream as good as LRP or Vichy. It's light enough so I can get dressed straight afterwards.

if your skin is very dry, have shower/bath roughly dry yourself, lash on some johnsons baby oil and put your jammies on, makes skin lovely and soft (only suitable if you have time on your hands!!!).
Love palmers coco butter lotion aswell, note to all the others who love it, it is v cheap in superdrug, much cheaper than anywhere else I have noticed
