im coming off BTE and moving back to my home county in next few weeks, i thought i would have enough saved to sort out accommodation but it looks like i may have to move home for the first month while i get my finances and hopefully work sorted.

i have never claimed while living at home before, i have no idea how that will effect me, my dad is retired, and my mum is out of work sick for last year or more (i cant see her returning tbh) there by no means well off and any money they have goes to mums treatment. They would not be supporting me financially at all.

im 24 and should be getting 144 if i make a claim living under their roof would i still get that?

Your parents income will be assessed as means on your claim as you are under 25. If you father in in receipt of OAP only and your Mum is in receipt of illness benefit then you should have nil means awarded and receive €144.
