I bought an ADXL335 off ebay and it arrived yesterday. Ran it with an MSP430G2452 doing 10 bit conversions on the three axes but it is throwing out strange values for the Y and Z axes, both in the 800s, while the x axis is given 450 odd, all while lying horizontal. The X and Y should be the same at least but aren't.

Tested the voltage on the pins with just the accelerometer powered connected to nothing and get X=1.6V, Y=1.6V and Z=2V, which isn't terrible but these change when connected to the micro...just ran it and got x=447, y=1020, z=882.

    Anyone any ideas?
