00 astra dash light

    hi all have a 00 astra.
    the main beam light on dash(blue) has stopped working but the light are ok. i have a gut feeling its the switch. anyone else have this problem/solution before i go pulling car apart!

    It could easily be a bulb (in the dash) gone. If the astra is anything like the 00 corsa (which i suspect it might be) each status/info light was its own bulb. So it was possible for the bulb for certain things to be blown.

    Im just guessing so dont take my word for it. But a a few of those bulbs did blow on the corsa when i had it.

    you were right bout the bulb.strippd down the switch and all was ok so took off dash.simple bulb blown. all back together now wit new bulb.happy days.
