    Hello,

When I use the phone line ADSL POTS filter my Internet connection is unusable. So I connected my TPLink ADSL straight into the phone line with great results. The side effect is my Alarm on the house cannot contact the monitoring companies sign in server and tells me at 3am!

Can anyone think of a solution to this problem. I can't use the POTS filter and I need my alarm to contact it's server.

    Thanks!

Anything on that line needs a dsl filter. That includes the alarm and phones. I'd say your alarm doesn't have one going by what you've mentioned.

There's a lot of threads on this so do a search on how to install one.
