If I was to get offered a job that was only 15 hours per week but spaced out over 3/4 days do I have to give up all of my dole?

My two cents (For what it's worth :p )
I actually heard it goes on hours. Working less than 20 hours per week allows you to claim social welfare to make up the difference. Of course, only to what you would be entitled too if solely on the dole.

It depends how long you are unemployed. If longer than 15 months, you can avail of the Part Time Job Incentive Scheme.

I was on illness benefit for about 10 months and have been on the dole for about 3 months.

Just to clarify its not hours its days. If you work 4 days or more you wont receive any payment. If you are on jobseekers allowance any earnings from employment will be assessed as means.
