A neighbour is selling all his cattle for the winter, he says he never gets a day off. So im thinking would it be worth my while renting the shed and throwing a few bulls in it for the winter. Only over the road so handy for bringing feed to it with the tractor? any idea's lads, thanks.

If you get the rent and bulls cheap enough it might pay . I suppose its easy to try it for a year and see how it goes , its better than borrowing to build and being stuck with the repayments wether it pays or not after .
Do your sums as best you can and decide from there

If you can get the cattle cheap and the Feed very very cheap it could pay

I'd always be nervous of bulls on slats breaking a leg

I would imagine the lad renting a shed out will work out better off than a lad renting it most years. Especially if this year was anything to go by. Cattle prices have not increased since the back end and long winter.
