    Hello
    I have a 04 almera and the last week it has not started on the button.i get the red lights and that but then nothing the key is a bit worn so would that cause a proplem. On the screen for the radio it shows up please wait when when I turn the key then after a minute it says secure.i don't want to waste money getting things done if its just a key reading problem..

    Problem with the immobilizer I would say, do you have a 2nd key you could try, might just be the electronics in the key at fault rather than the car.
