I am 99% ignorant re workings of a laptop. previously when i did a search using Internet explorer there was a facility to click "pages from ireland" which confined the results accordingly. Now this seems gone and when i search a paarticular item i get items from all over the world. Is there anyway to revert to Ireland only results.

    Hi,
It was kinda handy when they had that option there immediately on the google.ie page, don't know why they dropped it, but it is still available....

If you are using Google, click on settings on the bottom of the google page, and choose advanced search.

One of the options here is to limit your search results to pages from a particular country or 'region' as they call it. :)

Another option which may work for you is when you are searching for whatever in Google, put a space after it and then type site:ie

This will narrow down the search to sites registered with .ie domains.
