Exams were in May last year, but repeats have been moved to August this year, in line with all other undergraduate Arts repeats.

You may find this information explained on first year Blackboard sites for your particular subjects - unfortunately it's not on the Exams Office website yet (as far as I could see), but August is mentioned in the following document: http://www.nuigalway.ie/arts/documents/first_year_student_frequently_asked_questions_2012.pdf

You could always give the College Office a ring just to double-check.

For Arts, I was wondering if you can still get an Honours degree if you have to resit one of the exams which counts towards your degree. For example, if you repeat one exam out of 16?
