Drummer looking for a few casual guys or a band to jam with on a weekly or less basis. I used to play in a couple of original & covers bands but took a 15 year break.
I'm a medium/adequate but NOT a great drummer, though I can pick up most songs pretty quick.

Don't have time or commitment to join a working band and don't really want to do any regular gigs, so I don't want to reply to "drummer wanted" adds or waste anyone's time.

Prefer 60's to date covers (Rock/Pop/Blues - not metal or punk or Jazz) but happy to do original stuff, as long as expectations aren't too high.

Really looking for casual musicians who want for a drummer to jam with occasionally or I'm happy to fill in for a while with a band whilst they wait for "Mr. Right".

I'm in my 40's, based in Dublin 8, have transport, prefer not to travel too far, and really, not too interested in frequent gigging, recording, long-term commitments, joining a serious band etc... Just enjoy playing.

Thanks in advance for any replies

    Hi

Im looking for a drummer to perform on a contemporary piece im putting on in Windmill Lane Recording Studios on the 17th of May
Its not a difficult piece. I can send you on a recording of a rehearsal from 2 weeks, to give you an idea of the piece

    Kind regards

    Hi Ethan
thanks for the thought, but I'm really looking for something casual (more just jamming than gigging or performing). I don't actually enjoy performing to an audience, but do get a kick out of playing in a relaxed atmosphere with a few guys. Also, I really amn't a very proficient drummer, so I'll have to pass. Sorry, but thanks for the thought
    Hans

Still available for a band (see above) or alternatively, have one guitar on board if we can get a bass player and/or another guital or keyboards
    Thanks
