Ford Sync

    I'm getting a new mobile phone in the next few days, and it'd be cool if it supported all the functions of Sync.

    I've scoured the net and can't find anythoing definitive over which phones will read out text messages for example.

    The current phone is a HTC Sensation which does most functions perfectly btw. The kids think it's dead cool to voice dial without any programming, and play mp3 tracks at will using only voice commands, and in truth it's pretty nifty.

    I'm looking at a new HTC One, Sony Xperia Z, or similar.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Done a course on it recently, I'll have a look over the notes and see if it shows which phones support what. I'll have a look tomorrow.

    Actually most of the compatabilty is on the Ford site, but it doesn't cover the most recent smartphones.

    HTC One is up and working - it reads out texts, tweets and emails too over the stereo. Amazing bit of kit.
