    hello,

I moved into a new apartment and want to get broadband only so i was just wondering about the setup costs.

The apartment has a deactivated land-line, so if i was to get a dsl line do i first have to get eircom to activate the land-line or could another operator like Vodafone activate it??

Will i end no matter having to pay two bills,

You should only end up with one bill which will cover both line rental and broadband.

I don't know whether you or you prospective broadband provider will need to instigate the line activation.

Contact the provider of choice and ask.
