    Ahhhh the memories and nostalgia, back when cycling was real cycling and before “he who must not be named”. I get a shiver down my back when I hear that Channel 4 music!!!!!!!

    Yes Indeed . . . some names id forgotten over the years there too. Its even the sounds of the commentaries too that holds something special in peoples memories. . . Great days without doubt.

    Yep, there was definitely something cool about Liggets's voice (despite what we may say about him now) also the slightly distorted sound from the old transmission apparatus make it sound like something from a 1940's boxing match.
