Laptop powers on but won't post

    I have this laptop that basically powers on for about 3 seconds and then powers off. It won't post.. I'm wondering whether it may be a corrupt bios or maybe a faulty motherboard.. what you guys think?

    the laptop is a Zoostorm VME50 and i can't find much about it online...

    1. Remove AC Power and the battery, press the power button a few times to discharge the laptop completely, reconnect and try again.

    2. Remove the HDD and try again.

    3. Re-seat the memory modules and try again.

    4. Don't ever buy anything labled Zoostorm again!

    I've already done all the above none worked

    so i reckon the motherboard is gone... i was going to try reset bios to see if that might help

    i know with similar problems on Acer laptops in the past resetting the bios fixed it but can't find anything about the bios online and the support from Zoostorm haven't gotten back to me

    i didn't buy it... it's a mate's laptop i'm just looking at it he got it for his daughter..
