Hi All, Looking for advise on determine the location of a fault; my hot water doesn't heat properly. If the tank is cold and I set the horstmann control unit to come on the valve will open and the some hot water will enter. However, it will cut off at 40 degrees that's where I can hear the thermostat click at if I turn it.…

Hi All,

However, it will cut off at 40 degrees that's where I can hear the thermostat click at if I turn it. Even if I set the dial to 60 or 70 degrees, therefore I ask is it valve or the thermostat?
