Ryanair changed my flights

Going to visit a friend and his wife in Crete, so flying to Dublin- UK- Chania and all is good.
On the way back its Chania- UK - Dublin, there was a 7 hour stopover in the UK but now Ryanair has changed the flights so the flight from Chania lands after the flight to Dublin leaves.

Any ideas on what to do?

As its booked as 2 separate flights, you'll have to either a) book a new flight from Uk-dub for later, or B) ring them and see if they'll change your flight to a later one, I know my husband changed a flight for €40 the other week which was cheaper than booking a new one.

There'll be a charge either way as they only operate point to point. So they won't be responsible for you not making your second flight, even if its due to them changing the time of the flight that causes you to miss the second!

OP, how many hours difference is there between the old departure time and the new one? If it is 3 hours or more, they will accommodate you on another flight (at no charge) or they will refund you your money. You have to apply for the refund. They won't contact you to instigate it. If its less than 3 hours, unfortunately you are on your own.

This is from their own website.

If your new flight to Dublin leaves 7 hours later than the one that you originally booked, then you should qualify for a refund. But it's up to you then to then figure out how to get back to Dublin. Do Ryanair not have a later flight that they can put you on?

No, only 1 flight per day from Chania unfortunately

Well then you get your refund and book either a later Dublin flight or stay over.

Which flight did they change? I'm guessing it's the Chania one, in which case you are stuck with that flight and you'll need to pay for a new flight to Dublin (and claim back your taxes on the old Dublin flight, if you can be bothered). If they changed the Dublin one then there's possibly a later alternative that works for you, or you can opt for a refund and book something else.

I cant book a later dublin flight, i dont land til near on midnight and theres no flights to Dublin until the next day :(

Then its up to you to sort out over night accommodation, or get yourself to Dublin over land via bus or train maybe. Unless, you have travel insurance, the brunt of the cost will be on you. :(

Are there any other flights from Chania to any other UK airports, that you could then fly to Dublin from?

Hence why I stated "or stay over until the next day". These are the risks with booking bunny-hop flights with Ryanair. They're usually grand but occasionally will make a mess of your plans.

Did you look into tour operators flight only's prices and see how they compared, FR chnage flight times up to 4 weeks before departure.
