Does anyone know where you register for this? Am interested in doing it. Do your kids need to be teenagers though as mine are 3 and 5
    Thanks

is it for students? I applied last year to the local English Colleges. I dont know here you are based, but they usually have a member of staff allocated to this task. I have an 8 year old, there was no problem with that.
They came to my home, saw the room I had to give and we chatted abt requirments etc.

It worked out that I wasnt able due to the fact of the long hours at work and not being home early enough to feed them and get them to their evening activities.

My neighbour is renting her home and she used to host as a single mom with a little daughter of her own.

Once nice home, with good transport options and you can provide a 'homely' atmosphere...there was no problem.

I am in cork, but I would imagine the requirements are the same. I had a small room not ensuite. You will get paid more for en suite. I am surprised you have not got more of a response on this as I know lots of families that do it! Its great source of income and you have to do a family activity one day a week so it brings and keeps everyone together. Once a good relationship is built they may come back every summer!
With the cork English college you had a choice of mature students too as some people don't want responsibility of a teenager in their home! Best of luck with it, noone I know regrets it
