Am single 7 years now (am early 40's) and have recently become close to a guy who is also single. I know he likes me and if I am honest there is a bit of a spark there from my side too. The only problem is that he is 7 years younger than me. I know if it were the other way around I would not have an issue with it, but I am just not sure.

I am lucky that I look younger than I am (always did) and he probably looks his age at least or a couple of years older. looking at us together, people would not think there was a gap, but for some reason I feel like I am cradle snatching.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it and should just enjoy it.

There are people in relationships with gaps far bigger than that! You really are worrying for nothing, go for it :)

Go for it. Nobody pays attention to these kinds of details anymore.

Why deny yourself a bit of happiness based on what other people are thinking?

You're both legal. You're both having fun. You're both consenting adults. There's no problem here. Does it affect anything? Probably not, so just enjoy it.
