    not sure tbh

    not an electric for sure

it was here when we moved in. all there is is a mixer tap and a shower head. no sound of a pump when its running

used to work. now it doesnt. hasnt been used for a long time

tap turned either way only delivers cold water

Have you hot water in the hand basin?

Do you use an immersion to heat the water?

Is the flow the same just not getting hot now?

cold water usually comes into a large tank in the attic from which another pipe runs to the cold feed of the shower mixer. Another pipe from the hot water tank feeds the hot input to the shower mixer unit.

First see if you have hot water at a nearby wash hand basin. If there is hot water there it is likely that a blockage or airlock has occured in the hot feed pipe to the shower mixer.

You may need to get a plumber to get rid of the airlock which thay do by temporarily connecting a high pressure supply ( rising mains that feeds your kitchen sink cold water tap and also feeds the cold water supply tank in the attic) in order to blow the blocking air out of the feed pipe.
