    Just found the Barretstown inspirations gig from 2012 on my DVR (it's just over a year old). What an amazing gig. 4 Of Us, Engine Alley, Sinead O'Connor, Something Happens, Republic Of Loose, Lir, An Emotional Fish.

    All about 20 years on but all still spectacular.

    Was lucky enough to attend the gig, it was like an mini (indoors) trip to tipp. Would love it to come back with a similar & maybe expanded lineup. Maybe giving performers a little more time than one or two songs.

    Would there be a market for it do you think? (older irish bands) Maybe in the O2 ?

    The 2013 event took place last week at the Olympia.

    Yeah, there was noone of interest on that bill for me.

    I was meaning the bands of 20 years ago who were on last year
